The language.
It begins the way a portrait does: you sit for us. Private sessions with no mood boards, no references, no portfolio of ours to admire. Weeks in, you will say something you have never said aloud. That is where the language begins: a palette, a geometry, a materials vocabulary. It is proved in drawings and full-scale mock-ups before anything is made.
